About the role
We are seeking a BOI Specialist to oversee the management of our Board of Investment privileges and regulatory compliance in support of our Thailand hyperscale data center operations. The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of BOI applications, renewals and compliance reporting, and for day-to-day coordination with BOI and Customs officials on duty exemptions for imported machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of BOI applications, renewals and compliance reporting.
- Liaise directly with BOI and Customs authorities on machinery and equipment import privileges.
- Support work permit processes for foreign employees under the applicable BOI schemes.
- Provide advisory support to the finance, human resources and legal teams on BOI-related requirements.
- Monitor and report on regulatory developments affecting the company's BOI status.
Qualifications
- One to five years of experience in BOI or investment promotion, preferably within the manufacturing or infrastructure sector.
- Strong working knowledge of the BOI Act, Customs regulations and the Foreign Business Act.
- Fluency in Thai with proficiency in Chinese; English language skills are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with government agencies.
- Prior experience in the data center, telecommunications or heavy industry sectors is preferred but not required.
